The BBC believes most people will have read only 6 of the 100 books listed here. Bold those books you’ve read in their entirety, italicize the ones you started but didn’t finish or read an excerpt.

The only really interesting books on there are 1984 and Heart of Darkness and even they are a little out of date now days. I’ve read most of these books and I find that they are just he ‘classics’ that people think should be read. Time for some new classics, this lot has been read enough. Also, how dare they not put the stranger on that list!
